I only butt wink at challenging weights. So I think its a weakness/strength issue
[email protected]ParticipantDaily RX pistol shape. He is in the green shirt.
[email protected]ParticipantI feel like I am activating the parasympathic nervous system when I am doing banded distractions as well. I definitely feel that way when smashing as well. I also see that when doing banded distractions it helps to smash as well. Like when I am doing a banded pre squat hip opener I can feel tightness right next to my knee/quad/adductor Smash that out and then go back to the hip opener and I am able to start focusing more on my capsule at that point.
[email protected]ParticipantThere is a video titled “When are tissues normal” he talks about this question.
[email protected]ParticipantDefinitely not too deep. I was pretty light.
[email protected]ParticipantI can create it. I am thinking jumping rope might help as well as using a band to get into the position? I am wondering though, if I have full ankle ROM will I be able to get into the position or will my strength limit me as well.
[email protected]ParticipantWhat about middle splits? Hamstring stiffness banded distractions?
[email protected]Participantwell said Christian. And from the sounds of it stability deficits occur in other places other then the ankle that would cause the tight heel chord. How do you address that? Video taping yourself move? I am wondering if jump rope helps in situations like this.

[email protected]ParticipantRight, it would cool if they could play continuously one after another. Because many times I am contracting and relaxing far away and 5 mins in and the daily RX is over. I’d like to have something else on while I am in the movement.
[email protected]ParticipantDear MobilityWOD team,
I wish that it would play the daily RX scroll bar through on a loop. certain RX’s take a good chunk of time and i’d like to go over my goat RX’s (I have a bunch)08/19/2013 at 8:45 am in reply to: Losing hope for ever achieving ankle flexibility. Inov 8New BalanceMerrellVivobarefootTo be honest, before I knew about Kstar I had been in flat shoes for a year and I still don’t have ankle ROM. still working on perhaps tight heel chord, calves, and shins.[email protected]ParticipantThere should be more comments here! Jesse, how is it going?
[email protected]ParticipantI take it as your entire body is completely braced like you are about to do a deadlift. And then you release that braced position.
The goal is to have your body be in parasympathetic response mode. Contract your body, then relax your body into the position that you are trying to change. I think those mainly is working with soft tissue[email protected]ParticipantSunday July 21 Daily RX
