The Ready State: Mobility Training with Dr. Kelly Starrett › Forums › General › Hip Flexors
My hips are very tight, although my hamstrings and quads are not. I’ve seen the videos dealing with hip distractions and while I’ve been doing them once or twice a week, that doesn’t seem to be enough to cause a change – though I am unsure how helpful the hip distractions are for tight flexors. I do not have lower back pain or stiffness, but do have a slight valgus in one leg when I squat although this has improved somewhat. I am a desk warrior – indeed am tied to TWO computers for 9+ hours 5 days a week.
