Oh sorry, I meant after physical workouts, not mobility ones.

I started doing some bodyweight training to get fitter, and every forum I’ve been checking was emphasizing the importance of doing static stretching after working out (same with training with weights actually).
So I was wondering if it really was that important to do so considering I already do “maintenance” with my daily mwods.
    Thanks Kaitlin

I do have pretty bad ROM on hip extension.

After reading up on the subject (if it can help someone else) this might very well be a case of “Snapping Hip Syndrome”. This seems to be pretty frequent and the causes are not very clear. It’s even more common among gymnasts and dancers apparently (which I’m not…) Soft tissue work and strengthening of the glutes and surrounding muscles seems to help but I have yet to find anyone who could fix it completely.

Actually, you “Get tight” while breathing out. Squeeze your buts, screw your feet into the ground (from your hips), balance your ribcage, take a deep breath through your diaphragm and get tight as you breath out, then externally rotate your shoulders in a stable position and you’re done with the bracing sequence.

I’m not sure the order is that important as long as you end up in a neutral and stable position, but keep doing it in the same order so it can become “muscle memory” and you can do it without thinking about it.
