Our work with elite athletes serves as the proving grounds for our methods. Most people don’t play professional sports. But if our methods help athletes at the highest levels, they can work for anyone.
Since october, i’ve been having shoulder issues. It started in my right shoulder and now its in the right. The shoulder itself is tight as is the joint. I have joint/shoulder pain when moving. If the shoulder is moved straight up at end of extension is tightness and pain. If I attempt a hug stretch it is very tight. If I lean on the shoulder when getting out of bed or attempt to sleep on it, it causes pain. I’ve had mris/xrays done and they were clear. Had blood work done on Monday and waiting for results. I have a battlestar (full set), foam roller, super nova (80 mm), voodoo floss bands, and monster bands. I’ve started doing work on back pat of shoulders a few days ago. I used the super nova which helped to clear the pain away but in the morning it returned again. I did go too deep and caused some light bruising Can anyone give me a program that I can do for this?
Hard to say for sure, but it sounds like Upper Cross Syndrome brought on by poor posture, more so because its showing up in both shoulders now.
I responded to a thread a while ago detailing what I did to fix some pretty severe UCS. Not sure if it pertains to your situation, but it could be worth a read.

I don’t outline a program, but go over exercises and stretching that helped and how basically sitting slouched in front of a computer was the main cause. Its been about 1.5years since I got it and its completely cleared allowing me to do all types of upper body exercise with no discomfort what so ever.
Thank you. I will look at that thread and try the exercises. I forgot to add the right shoulder also makes a clicking/popping sensation when I walk and my arms swing normally. This all started I think because I purchased a bed that was too firm and since then i’ve had these shoulder issues. I did replace the bed but I think the bed made my muscles extremely tight.
