        Hi guys,

I’m dealing with FAI in my left hip maybe a labrum tear involved. Need a artroscopic surgery as fast as possible.
Any thoughts for pre and post surgery?
        Thanks

Can a FAI be remedied without surgery? Just curious due to the fact I have one and haven’t heard of ways to fix it. I figured after reading the BASL and looking hear that I can fix it myself if I continue to do work on it daily. Is this possible?

I had arthroscopic surgery in my right hip nearly 7 years ago.  Things were extremely bad in there.  The surgeon ended up removing all the cartilage and performing a micro fracture.  The pain prior to surgery was so intense in my knee and back that I went from being an elite athlete to borderline invalid.  The surgery worked, but it took me 4 years to get back to the point where I could compete (triathlon, rowing, running) again.  Most people seem to come back faster.  I was told I was just buying time until I needed a hip replacement, but so far so good.  Wish I had Mobility WOD at the start of this.  Good luck with your surgery.  Take it slow on the recovery.
