Daily Mobility Exercises by Dr. Kelly Starrett › Forums › General › Combat athlete with little flexibility
I’m a combat athlete and have neglected mobility and stretching upto this point. I have for so far and now realize that I need to do these drill and stretches. My main problem is hip mobility and flexibility. I also have problems with ankle mobility and t spine. I want to fix this as it is slowing my progression down
So can anyone direct me on the site to the best hip mobility exercise ankle and t spine
This site is full of great info. But I’m lost as to where to start
Many thanks
Start with your spine.
The spine is the carriage or chasse for the primary engines of the shoulder and hip.
Disorganized at the pelvis hip function is decreased.
Changing the position is the way to improve the function.

Dude I’m more or less in the same position. BJJ/wrestler with disastrous lack of flexibility in the t-spine and a constantly stiff neck. This site has been a blessing with helping me know not only what to do, but how to do it. Have a look at the Daily Rx from 3 November. Godsend for exactly what is wrong with my neck. If I could give Mr. Starrett a big girly kiss I would
