Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing a sharp burning sensation on the outside of my knee when trying to stretch the hamstring in a fully extended range?
Does it only occur when stretching the hamstring in a fully extended range?
Is this a new occurrence?
Could be the IT Band rubbing against the side of the knee.

Thanks for the response, yes it’s just when it’s in the fully extended range when I’m trying to tense my quad, I’ve had it for as long as I can remember.
I’ll give them episodes a try in my next session
