Stinging pain in what positions in particular? What part of your wrist hurts? Does it hurt when you enter these positions passively (push yourself into position) vs. actively (use your muscles to pull your wrist into position)?
Other than the treatments you mentioned your physio performing (electro, etc), what are you doing to deal with the issue? Have you been assigned any strength / mobility exercises by your therapist?
