Needing some help, I have lost all power when I try to strict press. Is this bicep tendonitis or possibl3 nerve issue in the neck. I have a dull numb ache around the scapula a# well. I’m not in a lot of pain, mor3 frustrated.
Thanks
Kev
Kev,
When did the dull numb ache around the scapula start?
What caused this? An injury, change in position somewhere throughout the day? Or??
Have you seen improvements with anything you have done to address this?
Since it began is it better, same, worse?
Do you have plans to get this checked out?
Hi it’s been the same since, there be3n no change over the last couple of weeks.

Looking for some assistance – female crossfit athlete with numbness into posterior forearm and wrist after dropping weight from OH position after jerk when weight is greater than 155lbs. overhead mobility complete, shoulder ER complete, shoulder extension 70 deg with PVC test, and does have reproduced numbness right wrist with end passive ROM right shoulder IR. did barbell smash and PNF for improving right shoulder IR with some improvement with passive ROM and no reproduced symptoms, but numbness into right wrist returned with retesting dropping barbell at 155lb from OH position again.
greatly appreciate any ideas/feedback!
As in she is dropping the barbell onto her back? C7 or C8 nerve root could be getting compromised by the forces or tension. Look upstream at some neck, upper back, trap mobilizations as well.
