I have a pretty bad over-pronation in my left foot and my subtalar joint in that foot has absolutely no inversion and only slight eversion. I have been trying to mobilize the joint by manually moving the foot in and out of inversion with my hands but I have not seen any improvement. I have always tried banded distraction from various angles as well as placing a lacrosse ball on the outside of the heel while doing the mobilizations. Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
It you are not seeing improvement you are not hitting the correct areas.
Have you looked upstream and downstream of where you are seeing the issue?
