What are some possible fixes for improving squat depth. I have a buddy who has had several knee operations in the past…including ACL repair twice on the same leg. He has trouble getting into the bottom of a squat (hip crease below knee) and complains of knee pain about at the point of hitting parallel. Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated?
What does his squat mechanics look like compared to ideal squat form?

What has he done to address the knee?
up/down stream of the knee to feed slack to the knee?
