I went snowboarding for the first time two days ago. There wasn’t much powder, and I had some speed, so I had some particularly hard falls on some hard ice. My whole body, but mainly my lower back, particularly the left side, as well as both my forearms, are all pretty sore. It feels like what you would imagine falling repeatedly on ice, and just having your body absorb those shock forces.
I really don’t think I have any injuries, but definitely things are strained. I’m wondering how much I should rest – I will obviously lay off the weights (and feel like I should lay off any myofascial release), but should I also lay off bikram yoga? Would it be wise to do some MWOD stretches?
