Charlie SteinerWhat do y’all think? Small bump in the skin on the lateral side of achilles tendon area about an inch above where it inserts into the heel, about inline with the maleolus.
I first noticed it about 2 weeks ago. Not red, no discomfort. It doesn’t seem to be an insect bite.
44 y/o male. 6’2″ 190. I don’t usually wear shoes. Runner, or rather getting back into running after slacking for a few months/year. 10k – 15k 3x per week I run with barefoot style shoes.

I’d have someone take a look at it.
A walk-in may be able to help. You’ve had it for a couple of weeks and it doesn’t sound like it is improving.
No discomfort or pain isn’t a reason to wait. Pain and discomfort are the last things to show up.
You may need an antibiotic to clear it up.
