Keith McCathrenI haven’t torn my patella tendon, but tore both peroneal tendons in ankles and proximal hamstring tendons. They were partial tears that did not respond well to conservative treatment. A PRP injection healed the tears back to 100% normal tendon via an MRI. Yes, it was an out of pocket expense but surgery wasn’t an option for me being active with five young children. 8 to 12 weeks healing time. Had super success with it. Good luck!
