        Do mobility exercises for the feet increase speed for jogging or running? I was wondering because it seems quad smashes are often utilized by people who run marathons. If not, is there any increase in strength that would contribute to overall speed? Any studies that demonstrate this would be much appreciated.

          Mobility work on your feet can improve position while running which may in turn increase the pace you are able to maintain when jogging or running. Many factors can impact running pace.
          Yes, runners can benefit from quad smashing and addressing other muscles groups utilized when running. Quads, hamstrings, calves, back, upper body all impact a person’s ability to move, breathe, and perform.
          Taking care of your body is a key aspect of performance levels.
