I am curious about something. I can do the couch stretch for 5-6 minutes per leg with nothing weird going on – no hot nervy pain, no numbness.

I’ve noted that, especially on days where I’ve had a significant workout, I develop numbness on the side of my leg by my hip, or in my quad close to my IT band – but only if I’ve been seated for a period of time. I am assuming that this is a sign of tightness and I am working to address that, just curious to hear what others might think. This is very common, and especially noticeable on days when I’ve done a lot of running or rowing.I am not doing any heavy lifting right now due to some mechanical shoulder issues that prevents that – the only real lifting I do is for technique and ROM, not for weight.
