I’ve got grade 3 cartilage degeneration in my right knee so anything that requires me to be on my knees directly isn’t super comfortable right now. In the couch stretch I have a significant amount of my weight on my knee while it’s bent against the wall. Is there a way to do this stretch where I’m not mashing my knee cap? Do I just put a lot of padding under it, or does that alter the mechanics of the stretch in a detrimental way?
