      Hi guys,

It seems like Kelly know what he is talking about, and knows how to track athlete, or normal people who have muscle imbalances, or overdeveloped in some region in their body which limits their flexibility and mobility.

My question is how does he know all that? Where did he get this knowledge? It would be very awesome to get this knowledge and analyze yourself, or other people who have this problem.

      Cheers Guys! 🙂

      Hey Kaizen,

Kelly has a degree in physio therapy from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, but I have to assume that only laid the foundation for his current knowledge base. Truthfully, becoming that knowledgeable and skilled takes a potent blend of passion, curiosity, critical thinking, and experience. With his involvement in athletics and CrossFit, Kelly had a more intimate understanding of the needs of athletes than many therapists have, especially early in their careers. He saw problems in the system and has made a tremendous effort and put a ton of work out there to try to fill those gaps, things like teaching people to move better, to respect good movement, and giving them the tools they need to perform their own maintenance.

Passion and experience, my friend. That is how you become an expert.

The best place to start is to have a solid understanding of human Anatomy and biomechanics.
