Had an acute hip flexor injury last weekend during a game. Fell funny in a tackle – left hip was abducted(like a side split) and hyperextended. Have has dull hip flexor pain that intensifies with impact (running) and after prolonged periods of sitting. Our PT has me doing some hip flexor stretches, leg raises, icing. Seems like BS. Anything else I can do? Need to get to 100% to crush the spring season.
