when doing the super sumo like in the video below, not using a band but using a 25# plate on each leg, i dont really feel much in the groin area but feel REALLY tight in the hip capsule or maybe its in the far outside of the butt? any thoughts on what it could be? its so tight and painful i cant really squeeze my butt in that position. Do i have something that needs to be worked on in that outside butt area before i work the groin? or is what im feeling normal?
Your body isn’t in the correct position.
A band is used to bias the position so it is felt in the glute.
