Heyo Legion,
I’ve been having this on again-off again pinch/flare-up in both my hips for a few months. It feels like it’s towards the back side. I’ve been taking a lot of different cracks at fixing it, and I’m only hitting brick walls. Has anyone dealt with pain in the same area? A lot of different mobilizations and tissue work just leave me back at square one. Many times I’m laying down, thinking that resting is helping it, only to get up and light it up again.
Hi Zach,
Since you have been experiencing this for a few months have you thought about getting more help?
Is there a TRS Coach in your area or another coach who has knowledge of this?
Is there a PT at your gym or at a gym in your area?
Ask other members at your gym for recommendations.
What have you done and seen improvements?
What have you done and not seen improvements?
Are you taking a systems approach to this situation?
Hi Kaitlin,
Thank you for following up. I feel quite a bit better now after doing a scrub of my hamstrings + tissues around my IT bands. I also laid on my back with my feet up and circled a lacrosse ball around the back of my hip socket. Seemed to do the trick. I wanted to ask for help here and see what kind of thoughts popped up – at the time I was in acute pain.
