Can someone comment on proper hand, arm, and shoulder stability and proper positioning while propping myself up on a foam roller? A good amount of the weight goes through my arms, and my shoulders (the joints) have slight pain after rolling out. Should I be using the same positioning required for pushups? It doesn’t help that my upper body is fairly weak from an unfortunately sedentary streak I’ve been on for a few months, and propping myself up for long periods of time while mobilizing is tiring.
