I have hip pain on my right side. When I perform the Hamstring Ball Smash, the upper-left area of the hamstring near my adductors is extremely tender. What do you think is the cause? Is it because my hamstring is extremely tight in that area? How long should I attack that area? Should the pain dissipate or decrease over-time?
You can try using different type of ball.
A softer ball such as a Tune Up Fitness therapy or therapy plus ball may help.
The hamstring could be tight.
