My mother in law is an avid Crossfitter at our box and has seen some great gains. She does however, suffer from elbow pain on a regular basis. It is believed to be tennis elbow and affects her ability to do pressing movements primarily. She has also complained of pain when doing pull-ups. I tried to floss her sore elbow using the voodoo floss band and couldn’t complete the wrap as the compression was too painful. She said it feels like a bad bruise. Any help?

try these videos and see if they help:
definitely check up and downstream, so forearms and triceps, and maybe into shoulder as well. -

Great info, thanks! I discovered the pain is a result of bursitis that she developed last April after doing “Fran”. She was forced to rest it for 3 months and has been trying to come back September. It seems she has issues after doing a wod with numerous reps with the elbow involved. Thus she is icing the “hot spot”.
Push-ups are fine, pull-ups are not, push press is okay, but cleaning the bar and putting it down cause pain, etc. -

How do the shoulders look in the bottom of her pull up? Do they get noticeably “loose”?
Does cleaning hurt, or is it just the lowering? Is her lower closer to a reverse curl? Or is she just moving the elbows back, while still keeping the shoulders from rounding forward? -

She likely has tendinosis (assuming she is a bit older) which is chronic degeneration of the tendon. along with the addressing of shoulder mechanics/tissue work, she should strongly consider Active release/graston/eccentric exercises to that area and consideration of prolotherapy/prp.
