I’d love to see a video where Kelly shows how to properly jump when spiking a volleyball. I’ve been playing for about 20 years and over the past 2 years started getting quad and knee tendon pain. I bought Supple Leopard and until I saw the section on jumping, I didn’t realize my technique was wrong. I would jump by collapsing my knees together. From his book, I’m starting to understand the knees out, shins vertical, etc, and this makes sense for blocking a volleyball because it is more like a standing vertical jump. But I am having a hard time applying this to a volleyball spike approach. A video demonstration would be awesome. Couldn’t find anything good on youtube
