      Hello,
I am an active BJJ practitioner and have injured my right thumb in training. They get pulled from time to time when training partners grab onto them when Grip Fighting with and without a gi and especially when they are defending against a choke as they will grap onto your thumb to defend and strip the grip.
I saw Dr. Travis on an old post advocating Glaston style fascial scraping, any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The pain is mostly around the mcp joint and is tender to palpation. I am taping when I train but was wondering if there were any other ideas or approaches?
      Thank you for your time,
      Regards
      Micah
