Good to hear you are seeing a specialist.
Listen to your specialist. Yes, it can be frustrating when you want to be doing more, however, hang tough with the process.
Are you able to do drill/skill work with pvc?
Work within cleared ranges, positions, skills.
Use this time to get positions and technique dialed. Following an injury you have less tolerance for deviations in technique. Most wouldn’t take time away from training to focus on skill/drill work. Use this opportunity…….. your skill/drill work is your workout. You’ll have plenty of time to workout once you are cleared. Prep for the next step.
It took 6 months to get to this place so it will take some time to get things resolved.
Set goals for your time in PT and as you progress toward your regular activities.
