Without imaging it is impossible to know if there is an injury to a disc or not. In the mean time make sure you are working on a deep squat just holding a light kettle bell or dumbbell and working to keep your torso as upright as possible. Any motion you can gain in your hips will take pressure off your spine. Check the MWOD site for any hip motion videos.
