Yes, the Yoga Tune Balls are softer& grippier than a lacrosse ball.
Some areas you may need a lacrosse ball and some areas a YTU ball gets in better.
In some areas a lacrosse ball is too hard and the muscles, tissues tighten up vs relaxing.
The would determine when/where to use which ball depending on where an area is at.
They are good for the feet, neck, upper back, low back for some people.
I know some people who like them for their hip and if something is tender.
