I think that the feet need to be out a few degrees when squatting – Kelly says 5-12 degrees elsewhere on the site I believe. You just don’t want to be allowing your body to find slack (that it’s not getting b/c of tight ankles, quads, gastroc, etc) by turning the feet out too far.
